Our bariatric program director, Cathi Roskind, RN, CBN  has been a bariatric nurse since 2001. Because she is also a weight loss surgery patient, Cathi brings an added dimension and personal perspective to our program. She provides education, support and encouragement for our patients throughout this lifelong event.

At  Commonwealth Bariatric Center, we offer pre-and post-op educational classes led by our certified bariatric nurse and bariatric dietician to help ensure that you are comfortable with the procedure and with the changes in your life. We also offer clinician-led support group meetings at our center as well as Internet support for patients who may have difficulty attending the scheduled group meetings.
